Challenge: Rezone property from Agricultural to Single Family Residential despite newly discovered "Vernal Pools."

Solution: Sares Regis worked with the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors to have the property included within the urban service boundary. In the process, a viable source of potable water was identified. The working relationship between Sares Regis and federal, state and local regulatory agencies enabled the facilitation of permits under the Clean Water Act, and the Federal and California Endangered Species Acts.
