SARES REGIS Group of Northern California won the opportunity to structure a unique
public/private partnership with the City of Hayward to develop their new City Hall. This
project from its inception was completed in less than 18 months. SARES REGIS and the
City jointly selected the consultants and contractors. SARES REGIS contracted with the
consultants and contractors to deliver this state-of-the-art project on time and on budget.
The project has a sophisticated seismic design that includes base isolation. Consideration
was also given to green building practices in the use of recycled materials and efficient
mechanical and electrical systems. In addition to the City Hall and its Subterranean
Parking, SARES REGIS completed a 300-Car Parking Structure and a 12,000 s.f. Retail
Space adjacent to the City Hall in 1998.
