In October 2007, Sares Regis completed this campus on time and on budget after managing the project through one of the most inflationary construction climates in decades. Achieving a LEED Gold rating from the USGBC, Symantec's campus is an example of thoughtful development that meets market needs. The Culver City site was selected after evaluating over 20 alternative sites including acquisitions of existing facilities, redevelopment opportunities and other ground-up development sites. The interior program needs were identified concurrently with the shell design to maximize efficiency and collaboration among the user groups occupying the building. During construction, corporate needs changed for our client, and one of the two buildings constructed was shifted from build-to-suit to build-for-sale. Sares Regis was able to reposition the entitlement and parcel configuration facilitating the successful sale concurrent with occupancy of the main building by Symantec.
